Dibrovsky January

Chervona Dibrova village, in which to be Sich, located on the banks of a small river Derelui. This area was first mentioned in 1497 in connection with the battle of the poles led by king Jan Olbracht with the troops of the Moldavian ruler Stephan III the Great, during which the poles suffered a huge defeat.





According to legend, after the victory of Stephen the Great ordered harnessed to the ploughs and twenty thousand Polish prisoners and the blood-soaked territory to plow the land and plant a forest, who received the name of Chervona Dibrova. On the outskirts of the village in the tract of Kichera in 2003, the masters of Ukrainian martial arts Valeri Shoemaker and Valery Odaisky started the construction of this Cossack host, which was called dibrovsky January.





Sich engaged of the Chernivtsi regional Federation of martial arts chivalry. Annually, the camp hosts children and youth from different regions of Ukraine, to feel the Cossack spirit of liberty, courage, moral virtue, cultivate chivalrous psychology.





Territory Dubrovskoj the camp surrounded by a palisade, and on its territory according to the old Cossack technology built a wooden three-tiered Church of the Intercession of the Holy virgin, the architectural basis of a Church near Yaremche. In addition, it is planned that in the territory of the camp is to be built Museum complex, the office, a few huts, smithy, workshop workshop carved and basket weaving.
