Newport Green, a new urban beach and Park, which was opened this summer in Jersey city. This is the first and only beach on the Hudson. It is just 20 minutes from downtown Manhattan.. Until recently, Jersey city has suffered severely from environmental problems, and many felt that the area was not safe for children, despite the amazing view of Manhattan. Now the citizens have a spacious Park and a wonderful public beach where you can walk barefoot.





Urban beach on the Hudson was defeated by the LeFrak organization and designed by architects Matthews Nielsen, who also worked on part of the river Park hood-area — Tribeca.

But the beach isn't everything. Newport Green also has a children's Playground, divided into 17,000 square feet, a mini-water Park, water rides and many other ideas for entertainment. Yet we should not forget about the area called "Jungle" and rope lock which is the first of its kind on the East coast.





While the children splash in the water, adults can stroll through the numerous gardens that are as close to the wild forests of the area. You can go to the greenhouse to breathe in the amazing aromas of flowers in the butterfly garden to see the winged beauties, or go to the flowerbeds with roses to enjoy their beauty.
