Mango regulates the level of sugar in the blood

The staff of the Federation of American societies eksperimentalnoy biology have discovered that an exotic fruit and mango will help to regulate the sugar level in the blood of those people who suffer from obesity.

In the experiment, the author of the study Edralin Lucas was attended by 30 adult volunteers, who were obese. The experiments lasted for 10 weeks, and participants in all that time ate 10 grams of freeze-dried mango. In the end, it turned out that the sugar level contained in blood of the volunteers, fell significantly in comparison with data in the beginning of the study.

Lucas commented that the results of this study fully confirm the evidence obtained in the course of the experiment with laboratory rodents: those who consumed foods rich in fats in the blood have a normal blood sugar. But scientists are still unclear the mechanism by which mango is valid and has a positive effect. We only know that this fruit contains a complex mixture of polyphenolic compounds.

It's worth mentioning that the average mango contains 60 calories per 100 grams. In addition, mango includes vitamins A, C, B6 and prebiotic dietary fiber, as well as lupeol and triterpene that inhibit the growth of prostate cancer and the skin.
