Three books by Ukrainian authors over the past year that are worth reading

Yuri Vinnychuk: "Tango of Death"
This book by a contemporary classic of Ukrainian literature deserves the right to open the list, if only because it won the BBC Book of the Year 2012 award. Opinions about how well this title is deserved, or how much the novel lives up to expectations, may vary, but one thing is certain: the book is a must read.

Especially it will appeal to people who are in love with Lviv, lovers of history, drama mysticism.

Nadia Gerbisch: "Warm stories for coffee"
The book by Nadezhda Gerbish at the end of that year was a real sensation. Still: the collection of an unknown author differs in incredible circulations. The formula for success is quite simple: invincible optimism, simple plot, easy language, and for the attentive, this book opens the recipe for simple human happiness.

It turned out easy reading for those who are in search of an island of coziness amid everyday bustle, seeks to retire with a cup of coffee and a soft cat on their laps and recharge with a portion of positivity.

Max Kidruk: "Bot"
Max Kidruk, well known in Ukraine as the first author of the genre of traveler in Ukraine, and, accordingly, the author of a series of books about travel (which, by the way, will be not only interesting, but also useful to read to all who are fond of traveling), wanted to surprise readers with an action story.

To write a story, the author had to shovel a lot of scientific literature and involve several specialists in the field of the latest technologies.
