This work, involving the construction of an innovative greenhouse has already received support from third-party investors, and will soon begin its implementation.

At the meeting of NEFU rector Evgenia Mikhailova and representatives of the companies RUSNANO and Optogan, an agreement was reached that the latter invests in the construction of two greenhouses with led lighting in St. Petersburg and Yakutsk 200 million rubles and 150 million will come at the expense of state subsidies.

 

 





It is already known that the innovative construction will begin in the coming weeks, and to complete its plan before the end of next year. As for the project of construction of greenhouses, it has two purposes. The first of them is to adapt systems for climate control to operate in Extreme North. A second result of our work should be an led lamp with the red-blue spectrum of light, which in the future should become the basis for lighting systems in agricultural areas throughout Russia.





Also, it should be noted that the work on the project involved several reputable organizations within the structure of NEFU. In particular, apply their knowledge to the members of the Institute of mathematics and Informatics, natural Sciences and technical Institute. In addition, also involved representatives of the greenhouses, the Botanical garden and the Saint-Petersburg national research University of optics, mechanics and information technology.
