The Koreans have created a robot crab for the repair of underwater communications

Scientists from the Korean people's Republic was successfully developed and patented a robot in the form of a crab, whose main task will be renovation works at great depths. A very big crab, having a weight of 635 kg, moves along the sea floor like a real sea creature, able to withstand enormous pressure of water masses, coupled with the undercurrent.

In addition to repairs, the Korean robot crab will perform research tasks at great depths, the intricacies of which have not yet been reported. Note that in addition to the ability to repair telecommunications, the robot will recover the oil and gas channels. The overall design of the crab provides for the presence of eleven cameras, among which is the acoustic recording device, guaranteeing free movement in the muddy waters.

Ultimate speed of a crab is 1.6 kilometers per hour, and the management apparatus is performed with a special five foot cable, through which also passed the information to the computer installed at the site.
