American students turned the wall of a skyscraper into a field for playing Tetris

This year, gamers around the world celebrate a significant anniversary – the 30th anniversary of the Tetris game, created by our compatriot Alexei Pajitnov. As it turned out, despite such a respectable age, it is still popular in many countries of the world. Truly, with an American scale decided to “congratulate” the anniversary students of the University of Drexel, who on April 5 played good old Tetris on the wall of the 29-storey skyscraper Cira Centre in Philadelphia. Something similar was conducted earlier by gamers in France and students of the Massachusetts University of Technology.

Shaw did well. And it could not be otherwise, because among its organizers were the president of Tetris Hank Rogers and Dr. Frank Lee, the author of the idea of turning giant buildings into a field for video games. His record, included in the Guinness Book of Records, is a functional display on the wall of a building with a height of 133 meters and a total area of over 10 thousand square meters.
