Eco-Billboard in Peru cleans daily to 100 thousand cubic meters of air

University of engineering and technology in Peru is working on the project of transformation of standard billboards into useful environmental objects. They have installed a Billboard that collects drinking water from air humidity, now it's air purifying Billboard, writes Inhabitat.

A new Billboard might one day clear up to 100 thousand cubic meters of air, replacing a dirty clean.

It was installed in the dirty district of Lima. The level of harmful emissions from cars and factories are allowed to name the capital of Peru is the most ecologically dangerous city of South America. The data collected over one week in March, during this period the Billboard purified nearly 500 thousand cubic meters of air.

The technology is based on water, which cleans the air from bacteria and harmful particles. The filtered artifacts are then used to analyze the structure of air pollution.
