A new device invented by a Colombian student who uses steam and electromagnetic charge to cleanse the tissues.

Juan Camilo Restrepo, Villamizar from the Pontifical University of Colombia presented a new technology of washing clothes and linen, which he called "Moon". The idea has been selected as a finalist of the prestigious contest ElectroluxDesignLab. As explained by the developer, the idea is to not put clothes in the washing machine, and the unit itself was located in the dirty linen. He argues that consumers will be happy with the simplicity of the new washing technology and will receive environmental benefits from its use.

"Moon" concept washing is a metal ball with a small amount of water. This creates a cloud of fine particles of steam electrostatic discharges that leave the sphere through microscopic pores. Moving and rotating the device in the hamper, for example, through vibrations and pulses that help to cleanse the fabric from dirt.
