Virginia Pig Who Thinks She's a Dog
This pig from Colorado is called Virginia, she grew up among the dogs of the breed boxer and seriously thinks that she is a dog. Now Virginia 10 months, 7 of which she lived side by side with two dogs, and according to the owner, she is even smarter than boxers. We are used to seeing pigs as cattle, but they are intelligent and loving animals. Decorative pigs are gaining more and more popularity among pet lovers, and less and less among meat lovers.
“I think Virginia doesn’t realize she’s not a dog. We picked her up when she was 3 months old, now she’s 10 and growing up surrounded by dogs all along.
“She likes to hug. She loves my friend very much. As soon as he sits down, she jumps up on the couch and climbs on his lap.
“It catches everything on the fly much faster than dogs. For example, as soon as we installed the doors for the dogs, she immediately walked through them, but it took the dogs a few days of thinking and barking before they realized that they could use the door to go out.
It took her about a day to learn how to use a special tray as a toilet.
We don't think it would be a surprise for anyone if Virginia learned to bark soon.
