Bearded pig
Bearded pig, which is also called a bearded pig of Borneo, – the usual pig. Only with a beard. She got a brush on the end of the tail. In Southeast Asia they still have enough, but in the zoos of Europe and America bearded pig – a rarity.
If you compare with our hundalee, bearded pigs and lean, with thin legs. And with elongated head. The color is not pink, but gray, or dark gray, or even brown. So, like me, she looks more terrifying.
Live bearded pig herds. Unique among pigs of their migration, during which they gather in a herd of hundreds of animals. We move from place to place exclusively at night for a long time proven route, the length of which often reaches several hundred kilometers.
There are boreskie pigs in tropical rainforests. And moving from one forest to another in search of places rich in food. But the pig food not whimsical. Eat all the roots, carrion, worms, fruits. Often select those fruits which accidentally drops a monkey. People in some regions of Southeast Asia, the bearded pigs eat. And their herd of these animals, much thinning after intensive hunting. So researchers attribute Sus barbatus to vulnerable species.
