Arue castle is a castle of the eighteenth century, located in a small valley in the centre of the French village of arue, in the historical region of France, Satoy on the southern French commune of Nancy D. mort and Mazel). It was built B25 of kilometric South of Nancy, between 1720 and 1729, the company Germain's Jaffray, Marc de Bovo-Kraon, constable of Lorraine, later Viceroy of Tuscany.

Interestingly, the architect has included in the architectural plan of the four towers and moats of a medieval castle predecessor (the former estate of the Marquis françois de Bassompierre born in 1579). This practice is a feature of the classical period. The castle presents other fun features, which, according to tradition, reminiscent of the songs of the city:

o 365 Windows (the other big castles also have such a rare feature) — the number of days in a year

o 52 the fireplace — the number of weeks in a year

o 12 towers (some of them are included in the building) — the number of months

o 4 bridge overcoming moats — the number of times of the year

The atmosphere of the castle that once belonged to the family of Bovo-Kraon. Some of the furniture in the Restored style of exceptional quality went to the Royal family as a gift from Zoe Talon, Countess du Cayla, mistress of king Louis XVIII. This furniture passed into the possession of the family Bovo-Kraon as a family heirloom from hand to hand. Descendants of Kraon still live in the castle. Here is preserved a collection of tapestries, in particular, a tapestry depicting the battles of Alexander the Great. Park in the French style was designed by architect-oformitelem Emilio Terry.

Now the castle hosts exhibitions and concerts. He also rented for various events. The castle can be visited from April to November, individually or in a group.
