"Green" the resolution will reach the President's Desk

April 24-25 at the hotel "Cosmos" will take place II ecological forum "the Concept of green future." The participants of the forum will be a resolution listing the main environmental problems of Moscow and will offer ways of their decision. To implement the program, the document will be sent to the President of the Russian Federation. The forum organizers – the Moscow youth multifunctional center (MMC) of the Department of culture of Moscow and the Green movement of Russia ECA.

The forum aims to draw attention to major environmental problems, to show the necessity of careful attitude to the environment, to form good eco-friendly habits among Muscovites and contribute to the development of "green" economy.

Speakers of the forum will be representatives of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of natural resources and ecology of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for water resources.

Key topics of the forum "the Concept of green future":

— eco-education in the education system (kindergarten-school-University),

— eco-education through civic initiatives,

— the development and transformation of urban areas based on eco-principles.

The forum is held for the second year in a row. The first eco-forum "the Concept of green future" in 2014 was attended by over 200 representatives of government, business, the nonprofit sector and the media. The forum was an open platform for communication on which the parties have established many useful contacts, share ideas, find like-minded people for new projects.

April 25. Festival day (12:00-18:00)

Main theme – sustainable lifestyle in the big city. For all who want to live a bright, energetic and environmentally friendly. In the program: interesting lectures, workshops, films and discussions. Also at the forum will be fair of initiatives in the sphere of eco-education.

BACKGROUND:

MOSCOW YOUTH MULTIFUNCTIONAL CENTER

Moscow youth multifunctional center (MMC) is a site of Department of culture of Moscow for the effective realization of young people with high creative potential.

Only "smart" – the slogan of MMC, whose activities are aimed at the thinking youth.

Appearing on the map of Moscow in 2012, MMC confidently occupied its niche in the cultural space of the capital, uniting under its roof active young people, agents of change, able to change and to change everything, urban professionals. They are an important strategic resource for the development of the city. It supports a huge intellectual potential and special abilities to develop. The increase in the number of urban professionals, supported in their development and formation, involvement in the processes of improving the urban environment – the main focus of the Centre's activities.

In 2014 the participants of the events held MMMC, were more than 73 thousand people from among the urban professionals, youth and members of local communities and leaders of Moscow students.

MMMC unusual cultural institution. This is the only youth center in Moscow, where at the same time is working on dozens of projects in various fields – business, international exchanges and internships, student government, urban studies, ecology, IQ-games. It is a modern centre with comfortable classrooms and a multifunctional hall equipped with high technologies for trainings, presentations, conferences, concerts.

The centre operates under the principles of "Green office". In MMC established system of separate collection of waste, economical distribution of electricity and water resources. Regularly for employees of the Center conduct trainings on ecological lifestyle.
