Compiled ecological rating of Russia in 2013
The ecological rating of subjects of the Russian Federation have been prepared based on several important factors: "Environmental index" that could be counted on indicators of water, air, earth, etc.; "Socio-environmental index" — the quality of living conditions, power and law, housing, information field for the population, etc.; "Industrial environmental index" — processing and retention of waste, responsibility of business, products and services.
The regions with the suitable living conditions, call the following. First place for the second year gets Tambov oblast, the second — Belgorod oblast, the third — Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Behind them are the Altai, Kursk and Ulyanovsk oblast, Tomsk oblast, Chuvash Republic and Orel oblast. In the last ten includes Khabarovsk Krai, Saratov oblast, Tula oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Orenburg oblast, North Ossetia, KHMAO-Yugra and Dagestan.

The two most harmful to stay in the region — Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk region. Saint Petersburg in 2013, lost ground and got 29th place because of the poor quality of air, water and other factors
