Phal from young nettle

This is a tasty and healthy dish prepared with spinach, nettles, beet tops, and even cabbage! Today we are going to cook with nettles.

Ingredients (approximately 6 servings)

  • Young nettle – 1 kg
  • Onions – 200 g
  • Walnuts chopped – 100 g
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Greens cilantro – 100 g
  • Coriander powder – 2 tsp
  • Salt, red pepper and black ground – to taste
  • Pomegranate seeds — a handful (optional)




How to prepare:

Blanch the nettles in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain in a colander, squeeze out water and finely chop.

Add nuts, chopped onion and garlic, herbs cilantro, coriander.

Mix and grind in a blender, puree. Season with salt and pepper.

If desired, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.published
