TAPPING FOR THE TREATMENT OF INSOMNIA
People engaged in mental work, often suffer from insomnia, due to the fact that their brain is overstretched and surplus total voltage cause malfunctions of the Central nervous system, and it affects my sleep. Insomnia often leads to vertigo, ringing in the ears and exhaustion. In severe cases, this can disrupt the work and undermine health.
According to the views of traditional Chinese medicine, the main cause of insomnia is a functional imbalance between the heart and the kidneys.
The heart controls mental activities. When the heart lacks or loses energy, it leads to memory loss and sleep. The kidneys control the reproductive essences. If there is a lack of reproductive essence, the person becomes sluggish, less sleep and easily awakened.
To prevent insomnia in China traditionally used the tapping. It helps to establish a balance between the internal organs, relieve excessive anxiety and depression by tapping on the Meridian of the heart Shao Yin on the arm and the kidney Meridian of Shao Yin of the foot. Rhythmic tapping has a light stimulating effect on the meridians of the heart and kidneys, thus helping to strengthen the spleen, improve nutrition of the heart, to replenish vital essence of the kidneys and to normalize the sleep process. Experience shows that if you persistently apply preventative tapping, problems with insomnia does not occur.
People suffering from insomnia, you can try this method out for myself.
Tapping is not difficult, and it is easy to learn. It includes the following four exercises.
Exercise 1: tapping of feet.
Sit down and stretch your legs. Postukivanie both hands on the inner surface of the legs (where the meridians of the spleen, liver and kidney) and on the outer surface of the legs (where the meridians of the stomach and gall bladder). Consistently postukivanie the surface of both legs from groin to ankles (Fig. 10-34).
Exercise 2: tapping the loins.
Sit down and stretch your legs. Put the hands back on either side of the waist. By performing tapping on the lower back, naturally and effortlessly tilt it back and forth (Fig. 10-35).
Exercise 3: tapping the neck and shoulders.
Sit down and do the tapping with the fingertips of his right hand on the left side of the neck, starting behind the ear, along the side of the surface to the point where he started to be issued trapezius muscle, passing in the left shoulder. Then do the same procedure with the fingers of the left hand with the right side of the neck. Do this alternately (Fig. 10-36).
Activity 4: tapping the forearms.
Sit down and straighten your left arm horizontally palm up. Postukivanie left forearm from the side of the little finger (where the Meridian of the heart) from the elbow to the wrist Palmar surface of the fingers of the right hand. Then do the same procedure with the right forearm of his left hand. Continue alternately tapping both forearms (Fig. 10-37).
Follow the above therapeutic drumming every morning and evening. One set takes about 15-20 minutes: five minutes for each of exercises 1, 3, 4, and three minutes for exercise 2.
What you should pay attention:
1. Relax your body, keep quiet and calm, breathe normally, counting repetitions keep to myself.
2. Tapping should be performed with moderate force and rhythm. Do not use excessive force, and all the painful sensations, numbness, swelling and razogretoj arising out of the taps, should disappear within 15 minutes after the procedure.
3. After taps, slightly stretch the lower back, legs, head and neck.
4. Do not exercise if some or any of the areas of exposure of the affected skin disease, swollen or infected.
As an additional means of helping to speed up the process of falling asleep for those who are experiencing difficulties, you can offer a set of qigong exercises based on the self. Self-hypnosis is quite simple and easy to implement. For its implementation need only to go to bed. However, this should be the last thing you do before going to sleep. Those who have chronic bronchitis and cough, must get rid of the phlegm.
Lie on your back, legs extended, heels together, hands near hips. Should be possible to relax all the muscles of the body and close your eyes. Natural breathing. The most important thing here is to liberate the mind from all distracting thoughts and bringing your brain into a state of rest. Mentally focus on a tribute to Tien (about 5 cm below the navel). This allows you to sleep within a few minutes. If the method fails, then most likely your brain has not yet subsided and calmed, and the mind is not really focused on the big toe. If so, continue the exercise and you will be able to sleep.published
