The Yamaha will give artificial intelligence

Yamaha intends to improve the safety of their bikes, with the help of artificial intelligence. Electronic assistant for motorcyclists, developed by the Japanese together with the Americans, is based on the same principles and technologies that in the past year have allowed humanoid robots to ride two-wheeled machinery. According to Yamaha President Hiroyuki Yanagi, the main goal of the new security system is to reduce the number of crashes of motorcyclists.

"We want to make the process of managing our motorcycles easier and to reduce the burden on motorcyclists, to enable them to pay more attention to security," said a top Manager. By introducing their products on advanced technologies to reduce accidents, such as collisions, falls and overturns, Yamaha hopes to rectify the situation with a sharp drop in sales of motorcycles in the domestic market.

"We will use the experience obtained from the robots to our bikes to make driving easier," said Yanagi. And while Yamaha has not yet decided when he will begin to use artificial intelligence in the interests of its equipment, on the agenda still stands the question of equipping them with new models in the future. Although, now in its new YZF-R1, the company uses technologies that affect engine performance, brakes and suspension. published
