Kawasaki is working on artificial intelligence for your motorcycle

Voice assistants can be embedded not only in expensive cars, but in motorcycles. At least so believe in the leadership of the famous Japanese Corporation Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Today, the company is engaged in the production of industrial robots, jet skis, tractors, trains and even airplanes, but motorcycles still occupy a very important place in the line of Kawasaki products. And the next generation of bikes could acquire their own artificial intelligence like JARVIS from "Iron man".

Why do motorcycle need artificial intelligence? The thing is that the manufacturer cares about the safety of motorcyclists. Many bikers are often neglected basic safety rules, and observance of speed limits and say no. It is here that in the case and enters an artificial intelligence that will be able to simple human language to explain to the owner of the motorcycle, what are the consequences of such reckless behavior. At certain moments when the AI will understand that to reach a person fails, he can even go to the trick and remind him that his child has a birthday soon, thus forcing him to think about the family and cease to risk their lives.

Engineers and programmers Kawasaki aim to improve the emotional connection between the rider and his "iron horse", like in the old TV series Knight Rider (1982), where the smart car KITT spoke to his driver, played by actor David Hasselhoff. The system has the working title "Emotion Generation Engine and Natural Language Dialogue", and help to develop the company's specialists Cocoro SB Corp., a member of the SoftBank group. The latter, incidentally, artificial intelligence ate not one dog, so the experience of its specialists is rich enough.

While chatting with a motorcyclist, the AI will develop its own unique personality. And even its creators do not know what the result will be a personal assistant – it all depends on his master. But one thing you can be 100% sure: in a stressful or dangerous situation, artificial intelligence will support and direct the driver of the motorcycle, with high probability it can save Tom's life. But life, as we know, is the most precious thing we have.published
