The racing bike from the legendary brand
After 44 years of success XR750 motorcycle company Harley-Davidson decided to enter a new era, for the first time in decades, releasing a racing motorcycle based on the iconic model. XG750R - flat-tracker based on the production model Street 750, equipped with an innovative V-engine with liquid cooling system Revolution X.
XR750 Harley-Davidson, undoubtedly one of the most successful motorcycle over the past decade history of American racing AMA Pro Flat Track. Initially, this model appeared in 1970 as a modified Sportster, but after 2 years it was not equal to the flat-track.
Technical details of the new bike is not disclosed, although we can expect a lot of updates to the engine. Given the rules of the AMA, and the presence of 750-cc engine, XG750R performance is likely to be significantly higher than the 53 hp from the production model.
In this case the weight of the bike is likely to remain at a minimum level (136 kg) permitted for GNC1 class. In addition to the engine may be noted chassis, modified tuning studio «Vance & amp; Hines Motorsports. »
Given that the model is designed exclusively for track racing, from Harley-Davidson are currently no plans to release the road version XG750R.
