300-year-old cottage in England

Back in 1680, Isaac Newton was still working on his theory of gravitation. The same year, just a few miles from the north of the "golden coast" of Cornwall was built the stucco stone cottage.

Recently I bought the home of a young couple, who completely renovated the house. Style to create an interior she described as a "country-vintage glamor».

Like many old cottage, this building is characterized by very small windows and low ceilings. To increase the brightness of the interior, the owners have applied white paint for walls, ceilings and beams. Chandeliers add sparkle and elegance to the country-vintage decor, while luxurious mirror to help disperse the light throughout the house. The owners have applied in the design of mainly light fabrics and furnishings and a well-cleared fire from centuries of soot settles.

The combined living and dining room occupies the entire first floor of the original cottage, built 300 years ago. In a much more recent annexe behind is a country-style kitchen and a bathroom with antique fixtures.

The staircase next to the fireplace leads to two bedrooms located on the second floor. On the other side of the fireplace is a small, cozy reading corner with a leather chair. Now this house is rented by Unique Home Stays. Babies are welcome, and the second bedroom has been specially created as a child, with everything you might need baby.
