Named the best car commercials of the year

The company IAG Research, dedicated to measuring the effectiveness of television advertising has awarded automotive manufacturers for the most effective advertising. Two of the five awards were the brands Toyota and Lexus. The award ceremony, which celebrated the most successful TV advertising campaign in 2006 in five categories, took place during the auto show in New York. The winners were determined based on data from IAG Research on the effectiveness of advertising resulting from the online survey of more than 1.5 million viewers.

Campaign to promote Toyota Yaris received an award in the nomination "The most effective campaign to launch a new product." The most effective advertising campaign in the sector of premium products was the campaign for the Lexus LS 460, showing the automatic parking. The development of the campaign engaged Californian agency Team One Advertising.
