Rapid construction of energy efficient homes

This building One9 was erected in just 5 days in the Australian city of Melbourne. This speed is made possible by the fact that some of the nine-were built in advance, and the place just had to put them together like a designer.

The developers claim that this method can be used in buildings up to seventy floors.

Total building - thirty-four unit with one or two bedrooms. The modules are equipped with double glazed windows to provide noise insulation and thermal protection.

Roof mounted solar panels, which generated enough energy to heat the water used by residents. The hot water in the building is thought to provide a high efficiency water circulation. Saves energy and resources used in the building lighting.

Also installed on the roof of the tank to collect rainwater. All the water is fused into the sewer, cleaned and used again.

To further reduce the impact on the environment, residents will be encouraged to bike (this building has veloparkovki on thirty-four bikes) and electric GreenShareCar.
