One of these days of Google, at a conference for developers, introduced the first prototype of its modular smartphone Ara.





This gadget consists of a frame, called endoskeleton and plug-in modules (screen, processor, memory, battery, camera, sensors, wireless communications chips, speakers, and so on. N.). Thus, users themselves can gather a smartphone to suit your needs, by connecting, say, a high-capacity battery and a better camera.



At the same time there will be three different sizes of endoskeleton - small, medium and large. By the way, the event was presented a prototype of medium size.



The modules are connected to the frame by elektropostoyannyh magnets which in the absence of current retain magnetization. Electronic Link module endoskeleton is based on technology UniPro.

Work smartphone will be supported by several batteries. If one of them starts to weaken, it may be replaced by another without restarting the gadget.
