Artist Erin Hanson

Erin Hanson has been an artist since she was 10 years old, it was from this time that she began to paint in oils. As a teenager, she worked in a painting studio. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Erin Hanson earned a degree in bioengineering. After graduating, she spent seven years climbing and painting landscapes in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and California. Erin Hanson has created a unique style, combining elements of classical impressionism with modern expressionism in her plein air painting. Hanson transforms landscapes into abstract mosaics of color.
