In sale of condoms for kids
To what technology has come! Recently in pharmacies and stores in Switzerland were condoms for 12-year-olds. Contraceptive specifically designed for 12-14 years of age. This idea was approved after studies showed that sexually active Swiss students rarely use condoms because of the wrong size.
The study was conducted with the support of the Federal Commission for Children and Youth Affairs of Switzerland. It showed that, compared with the 90 years of the last century, the number of sexually active young people aged up to 14 years has increased significantly. In this survey of participants revealed the low level of knowledge of modern Swiss schoolchildren about contraception and prevention of HIV / AIDS, according to MedPortal.
Once children are in such an early age they begin to have sex, even if doing this will prevent - decided in the government.
Condoms called Hotshot were developed by Lamprecht AG, in cooperation with the Swiss Federation of AIDS. Their main difference is small in comparison with standard condoms diameter - of 45 mm (diameter of conventional condoms is from 49 to 56 millimeters). According to the developers, this feature will eliminate the disadvantages associated with sliding of a condom during sexual intercourse.
Hotshot condoms will be distributed in Swiss schools with educational materials on HIV / AIDS. They also will be available: a six pack of condoms is 7, 6 Swiss francs (about $ 7).
