In our time, the implementation of "green" projects aimed at saving and environmentally friendly production of electricity is a priority for many scientists, politicians and engineers all over the world.





Recently, the company's specialists RAFAA Architecture & Design offered to build in Rio de Janeiro Tower, which combine the functions of an artificial waterfall and power. The construction of this complex is scheduled for completion in 2016 - the start of the Olympic Games in Brazil.



According to the project plan during the day Tower will generate electricity through a set of solar panels. Engineers hope that the plant capacity will be enough to provide electricity to the Olympic Village. Moreover, unencumbered electricity can be used to pump sea water into giant reservoirs in the upper levels of the tower. Importantly, the water in this project also allocated several roles.



The first of them - the production of electricity at night. Also, water will play a decorative role, and used for artificial waterfall, thus symbolizing the forces of nature.



The top floor of the tower will be used as a viewing platform for residents and visitors alike. Also, the architects are going to place on-site restaurant and a shopping center. It is interesting to note that the tower will attract not only the lovers of "green" technologies, but also adventurous - for those who like bungee jumping equipped with a special platform.
