Frozen Aquarium

Corey but Suizokukan (Kori no Suizokukan) - so-called frozen aquarium, located in Kesennuma, Japan.
Visitors are presented with 450 frozen samples of 80 different underwater species.





All of the animals taken from the nearest fishing port.
For freezing method is used INSTANT freezing, giving exhibits a fresh look.



Inside unpleasant long is because of the reigning indoor temperatures of -20 Celsius.
Visitors give special suits at the entrance.
