Initially, the idea was to demonstrate how you can build a sustainable business, growing mushrooms or herbs in recycled coffee grounds. The authors of the idea have decided to make it interesting and fun and has created an unusual self-cleaning aquarium.

Aquaponics is the product of synthesis of aquaculture and hydroponics. The principle of operation is based on the fact that water filters that remove fish waste in the aquarium are the roots of the plants, and the plants in turn not only helps to keep the aquarium clean, but get the necessary nutrients.

However, the creators of the aquarium to warn that the effectiveness of roots is small, so the system will work efficiently only in the case if you settle in the aquarium, small fish, or the number of plants would need to increase.
