Alida was born prematurely, and the first months of his life with an oxygen breathing apparatus. When she was six months, doctors have found that light girls still can not provide the correct gas exchange. The diagnosis was for the baby sentence: childhood she had to spend in their rooms, as the small and weak girl was not the strength to wear a breathing apparatus.

Once parents Alida saw on TV program about guide dogs for the blind, and they came saving idea. Very soon they got a dog, which was given the name Mr. Gibbs. Since then, every morning, when after a night's sleep Alida disconnect the phone from the stationary oxygen unit in my room all day tireless Mr. Gibbs goes for the girl and wears on his back a small portable oxygen tank. Thanks to a long, thin plastic tube connected to a portable cylinder, Alida can live almost a full life of an ordinary child. Mr. Gibbs obey every word of his little mistress, they are every minute until the bedtime spend together.
