Portraits of men of the Foreign Legion (19 photos)

French Foreign Legion - the legendary unit established in 1831 by King Louis-Philippe. Become a legionnaire can a man of any nationality and religion in age from 18 to 40 years. Naturally, subject to passing the tests and medical examination.

To date, the Foreign Legion serves about 7,700 people from 136 countries of the world. Legionnaires deployed in Afghanistan, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti and Guyana.
