Kindergarten in the form of a huge cat

Unusual kindergarten Die Katze is in Wolfartsweier, district of the German city of Karlsruhe. The building is in the form of a huge white cat was designed by architect Ayla-Susan Yondel (Ayla-Suzan Yöndel) and designer Tom Ungeregom (Tomi Ungerer). Exceptional design has allowed to diversify children's everyday lives and now kids are happy to go to kindergarten.

1. Construction of the building looks like a cat getting ready to pounce. Pricked up his ears, eyes wide open windows and tail acting as a children's slides.





2. Kindergarten opened in 2002. He is visited by about 100 children aged 3 to 7 years.



3. Inside the koto-building is no different from an ordinary kindergarten: in "legs" are located playgrounds, in the "belly" - kitchen, dining room, staircase, dressing room and training room.



4. On the second floor, in the "head", a large hall, where the day is always light thanks to large windows, round eyes.
