Attractions Los Angeles the Japanese garden in San Marino

It's the weekend and we invite you to relax and meditate in the beautiful place of Los Angeles — historic Japanese garden at THE HUNTINGTON. So, in East Los Angeles, in the small town of San Marino, is located the manor who lived in the early 20th century, railroad magnate Henry Huntington. During his life he invested heavily in art and in his estate gathered quite an interesting collection of books and paintings, the most famous of which is the masterpiece of Thomas Gainsborough "the blue Boy" (1770). Around the estate was created a beautiful Botanical garden, which is divided into multiple isolated zones: a Desert garden, Australian garden, Camellia Garden, Rose garden, herb Garden, Chinese garden, Shakespeare garden, Tropical garden, the Lily garden and the incredible beauty of a Japanese garden, opened in 1912. We had a fantastic day in this unforgettable flourishing place and photographed it for you.

After the death of Henry of Huntington his estate which cost astronomical for the beginning of the last century, 50 million dollars was opened to the public. Today there is a major scientific-educational center. The estate has featured in many famous films: "memoirs of a geisha", "the wedding Singer", "Charlie's Angels", etc. But back in our Japanese garden. Its gates are guarded by stone lions. Behind them is a magical world of silence and contemplation... Let's not piss off the ancient city and to pogojem by blooming garden in silence.
