This architectural art installation called «Lucid Stead» and its author is Philip Kay Smith third (Phillip K. Smith III). The project is located in the desert Joshua Tree National Park, in California.

Phillip Kay Smith third (Phillip K. Smith III) actually managed to revive the desert landscape and emphasize the nudity wasteland, with the help of mirrors, LED lamps and wood. LEDs were needed to highlight the structure at night. As a starting point of the art installation «Lucid Stead», the author used an old shack in the middle of the desert, which is here for about seventy years. According to Phillip, he just wanted to show the interaction of light, shadows and reflections.
