"Iron"
Construction of the famous "Iron House", one of the architectural symbols of New York, 1902
Built in 1902 on a triangular piece of land 22-storey skyscraper immediately dubbed the "iron" because of its shape, and the photographer Alfred Stieglitz compared the building with ocean liner: "It seemed that the building is moving right at me, as if his nose huge ocean liner - new America's image is still created »
