Crusoe in our time
In an article titled "The Last Days of Eden," which was published in the Sydney daily newspaper «Sydney Morning Herald», describes the real life of the former businessman David Gleshina. He is known as the Australian Robinson Crusoe.
After the divorce with his wife and the loss of millions of dollars in the stock market, he decided to leave everyday life in Sydney and live as a hermit on an island off the coast of Brisbane. Together with him on the island lives his friend - a dog named Quasi. Although he loves his only companion, David admits that sometimes he gets lonely. However, a former businessman has a good sense of humor and joking that his only hope of a mermaid. Despite the loneliness, she hopes to spend the rest of his life on this island. Unfortunately, the Supreme Court of Queensland aims to evict him for breach of the lease and is currently Gleshin seeking free legal advice to cancel the decision of the court.
