These translucent creatures hanging over his head, provide a certain ethereal atmosphere, decorated with a dining room, living room or bedroom. The collection called "Medusa" is a series of creative designer lamps Roxie Russell (Roxy Russell). With this project, the artist pays tribute to maritime spaces, which cover most of the Earth's surface, and also draws attention to the growing problem of environmental pollution.





Guided by a natural chemical process - bioluminescence (natural lighting), the author managed to create some original fixtures, which are a constant reminder of the mystical underwater world.



Roxie Russell fascinated by the ocean, it is bescgranichnym source of inspiration for many of her designs.
Jellyfish are perhaps the best example of environmental adaptation in the ocean. They are composed of 95 percent water. With no equal in the clear splendor of its glow, they are also a natural inspiration for all lighting elements.


Each lamp got its special name - Hydra, Polyps, Medusa and Ophelia.
