Gerard Depardieu arrived in Sochi, received a Russian passport from the hands of Vladimir Putin. Arriving in Saransk at the invitation of the director of State Film Fund of the Russian Federation Nikolai Borodacheva, Depardieu received a proposal from the head of Mordovia to settle in this country. The actor gave the keys to the apartment in one of the buildings of Saransk and promised a house by the river Insar, built especially for him.
