The opening of the new building "Centre Georges Pompidou"

Twelfth of May the opening of a new architectural marvel of France - "Centre Georges Pompidou" in Metz, in the north-eastern part of the country. The creators of this masterpiece was Jean de Gustin French and Japanese Shigeru Ban.





French National Centre for Arts and Culture is one of the most famous museums not only in France but also abroad. Now in Metz branch of one of the largest museums. There will not be held permanent exhibitions, and the work will be borrowed from the main museum in Paris Beaubourg quarter. The roof of the building, made in the Chinese style, creates for those who looks completely different images. Someone building resembles a mushroom, someone lights, but someone altogether alien craft or Chinese hat. Mixing several styles just added elegance to the building.
