The memory of September 11
On Saturday, September 11, people from all over the US and around the world remembered the victims of the terrible terrorist attacks in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania, which killed 3,000 people. Construction of the World Trade Center on the site of the fallen twin towers has reached 36 floors. By 2012, it is planned to construct a building in the 541 meters in height. The building, formerly known as the Freedom Tower, now being built at a rate of one floor per week, although only a few years ago, it made it difficult to build political, financial and security issues. Cost of the project - $ 11 billion. In New York and Pennsylvania in the next year preparing the opening of memorials to the 10th anniversary of the tragedy.
