China at the turn of the century

Today we offer you to go on a short journey with photographer-researcher Ralph Peno (Ralph Peno), who fleeced these pictures on particles. Time frame images are extensive and limited to a half-century period.

From the second half of the nineteenth century to the early twentieth century can be called one of the most difficult times in the development of the country. There were foreign intervention, and there was a revolution. In this period of time there was also a change of eras. Historians call 1911 the year you start a new history of China. It was in 1911, there was the overthrow of the power of the emperor and the Republic of China was born. Only at the end of the Second World War the Republic of China has become one of the Chinese People's Republic, the power of which is now more than palpable.
