How to put a double bed in a tiny bedroom

Our hero-engineer is Louis Iijima. He was long and unsuccessfully looking for a decent rental housing that he could afford: finding such an apartment in Berlin turned out to be a difficult task. In the end, Louis rented one big room. It was. small room. No, not small, but negligible, tiny, cramped, only 2 square meters.

The guy discovered his talent! What you are about to see is a triumph of engineering. As pets fit into the bar, so all things Louis, everything he needed, clearly and beautifully fit into a small square.

How to make the room bigger
  1. The work is boiling! This is what the room looked like before Louis took over. Only 2 square meters! The guy decided to do something supernatural to place in a small area and a double bed, and a variety of personal belongings, and even a bicycle!

  2. To make the bed, Louis first bought the boards. He saved: found inexpensive wood and polished it himself.

  3. Louis then applied a layer of primer and paint to the boards intended for the bed.

  4. To implement his idea, the guy needed pipes. This is the size of the pipe he bought in the store: 10 x 1890 mm, 4 x 2400 mm, 4 x 220 mm, 1 x 880 mm and 1 x 550 mm.

  5. The first step is a square of pipes on the floor of the room.

  6. Louis took care not to scratch the floor in the room.

  7. Building the structure was not such a difficult task, all thanks to these details.

  8. This is what the top of a structure made of pipes looks like.

  9. On the side, the guy made a small ladder.

  10. A string of wooden frames! First, Louis fixed the boards on the lower level.

  11. Now you need to raise the wooden frame to the level of the bed.

  12. Mattress time! The bed is almost ready...

  13. Great! The bed next to the window is my childhood dream.

  14. Boards at the headboard, stands instead of a coffee table, an exquisite lantern ... Small details complement the bed.

  15. Improvised canopy.

  16. This is what the space under the bed looks like. How much space is left, everything fits, even a bicycle!

I didn't have to break the walls to enlarge the room. Louis inventively used the entire space of his monastery, building 2 floors. How clever he was! Design of a small room Impressive functionality.

I'm sure this trick will help many families who live in cramped, captivity of their own things. Share a useful article with your friends!
