Now wrap the bucket handle with the same rag. You can also fasten with a thin wire. As for cement mortar, it consists only of water and cement, without third-party additives, although you can add PVA glue. The consistency of the mixture should be similar to liquid sour cream.

When the handle is dry, wrap it with a linen twine, and fix the ends with the same thin wire. The choice of linen twine is justified by the fact that it perfectly absorbs moisture.





For decor, we use a confectionery bag with cement mortar and a durable nozzle. Initially, outline the main lines so that it is easier to apply drawings. In our case, the decor will be completely uncomplicated, even straightforward. You can take a woven basket as a sample.





From a thin strip of fabric we build a rose - an excellent decor element for our basket. A couple of decades ago, such “flowers” decorated a variety of crafts. However, in our case, the fabric will be impregnated with cement solution. From a thicker solution, you can build leaves and attach them to the product.





With the help of the same confectionery bag with a nozzle, it is convenient to add other beautiful elements. Note only that such details should be done promptly until the solution has frozen. Therefore, it is better to train initially, for example, on a piece of paper.





We use a spray gun for impregnation. As for painting, then in our case, acrylic varnish is used, which is designed for both wooden and stone surfaces.





And basket, you can weave "protonated" with a light red tint. It will not be superfluous to paint the roses themselves. After that, it remains only to let our craft dry, which, however, will take a lot of time.





Of course, such a basket can not be used for vegetables, fruits or any other food. But for flowers, the capacity will be very useful. The main thing is not to forget to make a couple of holes in the bottom with a drill so that there is an outlet for excess moisture.
