The list of Ukrainian actors who refused to cooperate with Russian companies continues to grow. This is not surprising, because our actors love their country. They cannot allow the thought of cooperation with those who create such horrors in their homeland.

The fact is that due to the common Soviet past, many Ukrainian actors were involved in Russian projects. A huge number of cultural figures worked quietly for a long time both on the territory of Ukraine and on the territory of Russia. This applies, for example, to musicians and performers touring throughout the CIS.



But now the situation has changed. What the Russian military is doing in Ukraine is not just horror. This is absolutely inhuman and it is impossible to forgive, no matter how many years have passed. All those who love and support Ukraine are trying to distance themselves from everything that concerns Russia.

Actors who, despite their demand, refused to shoot in Russian cinema, well done. Some of them have seriously reduced their income, but the love of the homeland was much more important than money.

1. Alexey Zubkov Alexey is an incredibly talented actor of cinema and theater. Interestingly, being a native of Ukraine, he gained popularity, starring in TV series of Russian production. Only after 2016, Zubkov began to play central roles in Ukrainian films. Now the actor is actively filming with his wife Tatiana. Tanya is no less talented than her husband.
