The series "Varkina Land" is similar to many other films about life in the village and about work in the collective farm. However, few of them had the warmth and warmth that director Anatoly Bukovsky demonstrates in his series.

The main character, Varya Kravets, is at a crossroads. On the one hand, the parents want the girl to go to the city to finish her studies. On the other hand, Varya herself, who remains to work in the collective farm, because she does not want to leave her house. In addition, there is also a young man appeared with views of the main character.

The second film adaptation of Vera Panova’s story “Satellites” (the first was called “Train of Mercy”) was timed to the 30th anniversary of the Victory. In the center of the plot of the 4-part picture is a train where the victims of the war are. The peculiarity of this film is that everything terrible remains behind the scenes. While the main characters are forced to cope with the consequences of these events. Thus, the viewer is given the opportunity to see and feel the bitterness of the realities of those days.

The film, based on Yulian Semyonov’s novel “Confrontation”, is strikingly different from the detective television series of those times. First of all, I want to note the cast, headed by Oleg Basilashvili himself. And secondly, the plot unfolds in two timelines at once: the end of the 70s in the USSR and the 40s in Germany.

An exciting detective story will encourage the study of real events, which became the basis for the creation of the novel “Confrontation”.

Many Soviet serial films, unfortunately, are replaced by memory and other new paintings. However, thanks to modern databases, there is always an opportunity to find something new for yourself. Even if it was created years earlier. And with the help of the Internet and social networks at any time you can share your discovery and recommend a film to other people.
