I recently got hooked on a culinary YouTube channel and occasionally cook with recipes taken from there. My last experiment is this: chocolate toffee and banana. The perfect treat for those who are not ready to spend a lot of time preparing desserts. Today I will talk about my experiences and mistakes and share the results!

As you can see, I was in more shape than I needed. So I decided that if I increased the number of bananas a little bit, nothing would happen. However, I was wrong, as an extra 60 grams of fruit was enough that the dessert did not freeze as it should.
If you decide to increase the banana mass, you must also increase the amount of chocolate. The situation made me very sad, but I figured out how to find a way out of it. I remembered that bananas are great for freezing (like banana ice cream). So I decided to just send the form with future toffee to the freezer.
After another 1 hour, the mass completely froze, but it did not look like ice. I easily separated the dessert from the parchment and cut it into portion pieces. It really tastes like chocolate chips. If you give the dish a little stand, it will resemble soft candy with a harder filling.
At one point, I thought this recipe was made for freezing. So don’t be afraid to experiment! Often a failed dish can be saved. The key is to incorporate savvy and understand how products interact with each other.
By the way, in this recipe, the dessert freezes thanks to high-fat dark chocolate. Replace it with cocoa powder, for example, will not work. If you want a more milky taste, use chocolate with a lower percentage of cocoa.

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- Pour the chocolate-banana mass into the mold. Carefully level the mixture with a spatula so that the height of future toffees is the same.
- Send dessert to the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Then cut the chocolate toffees into portioned pieces. Done!
