How to cook Julien in buns

Julien is a dish that is prepared on the basis of mushrooms and sour cream. There are many variations of Julien, one of which we will discuss in today’s article.

Thanks to the minimum amount of ingredients, you can cook such a Julien at least every day and please your loved ones. This dish is perfect for outings in nature, because it can be very easy to warm up at the stake.

The ingredients
  • 1 large bulb
  • 60g butter
  • 400g fresh mushrooms
  • 500g chicken fillet
  • 300g hard cheese
  • 400g sour cream
  • 5 buns






Preparation
  1. First, boil a chicken breast. It can be boiled whole.
  2. While the chicken is cooked, onions and mushrooms can be prepared. Finely chop the onions and roast in butter until golden. Add the crushed mushrooms to the onions.



    In the classic Julien, champignons are used, but you can safely add ordinary white mushrooms.

  3. Now finely chop the boiled chicken breast and send it into the pan to the onions and mushrooms.



  4. Last but not least, add some sour cream, a good salt and a good julienne. Leave the mixture stewed until ready.



  5. Let Julien cool down a little. In the meantime, cut off the top of the buns and carefully remove the pulp. You can also add a little milk to the bun and with a spoon gently press the flesh against the walls.

  6. It is necessary to thoroughly fill the buns with Julien and sprinkle with grated cheese. Now you need to bake the dish in the oven until the cheese is completely melted.





Ready buns can be slightly covered with previously cut tops and decorate with greens. Bon appetit!
