About what baby carriages dreamed of every Soviet mother
A baby stroller today will not surprise anyone, but in the days of my childhood it was just a special chic. We came across our old ones. SovietWhen the shed was being dismantled. One in the form of a cradle on large wheels, and the other smaller, sitting, on paired rollers. Remember those? There was no one to give them, so they lay there for thirty-five years.
Editorial "Site" It offers to plunge into pleasant nostalgia and remember your childhood. Or rather, our mothers, who with the help of a wheelchair wanted to stand out to emphasize their individuality, status and beauty. Yeah, that was relevant then too!
Let's remember the Soviet strollers a little. Strollers with a cradle on which there was a reclining awning, and at the bottom a basket for things. Already in the eighties on wheelchairs there are additional pockets for small things and... brakes! They stop the wheels so that the wheelchair, God forbid, does not go anywhere.

In later versions, windows appear in the cradles. Thus, the child can consider world. Materials for wheelchairs were used very different, even plastic was used to make them lighter and more mobile. Alas, this sometimes made wheelchairs dangerous: they could roll over with the child. In addition, such transformers often broke.

By the way, our stroller cradle is made of plastic, however, it practically does not fold. However, there is a hole in one of the sides. Now it is impossible to know under what circumstances it appeared. But the second stroller survived very little. It can hardly be used, but it looks quite normal.

It seems that this stroller was called "stroller-cane" Because of her interesting pens, like an umbrella. By the way, it was really very popular, because it was easy to fold, was very easy and quite affordable. Not like the strollers from the GDR, which had to be caught. I think this stroller was called Zekiva.

Despite the fact that these velour "machines" were a real hunt, lack of wheelchairs, it seems, no one experienced. They were produced in Dubna, at a machine-building plant, and in Liepaja, Lithuania. There were strollers for twins and triplets. They also made mini-wheelchairs for dolls.

It seems to us that, despite a rather large number of different options, mothers still dreamed of a wheelchair from Germany. Powerful springsGood brakes and nice to the touch velour. In a plastic stroller, the baby, we think, is still less comfortable.
It is unlikely that during this time, something has changed constructively. Materials yes, but you can still see moms with cradles and strollers. However, recently there has been a fashion for other types of transportation of babies. For example, child seats in cars and the so-called slings, which allow you to carry the baby as if in a backpack.

As for the choice, here, perhaps, the most difficult will be to decide what will be used most often. Or is it powerful? cradle with good protection and a strong frame, either a transformer three in one, or an ordinary walking stroller. I wonder, in the eighties, too, chose the wheelchair?
