Orange cake ingredients
- 300g flour
- 100g sugar
- 1 carrot
- 2 oranges
- 100 ml of vegetable oil
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- vanillin
- 100g powdered sugar
Preparation
- First, wash the oranges, peel them off and cut the flesh into small circles, removing the bones during the cutting process. Next, send orange cubes to the bowl of the blender, add sugar, vegetable oil and beat everything until you get a homogeneous mass.
- Then wash the carrots, peel them off, and then rub them with a large straw.
- Put the grated carrots in a deep bowl. That's where you send the orange mass. Add to the bowl sifted flour, baking powder, and vanillin, after which mix thick dough.
- Put the oven to warm up to 180 degrees for 10 minutes, and in the meantime lubricate the baking form with vegetable oil and transfer the dough into it. Place the workpiece in the oven and bake the biscuit for 40 minutes. Do not forget to check the readiness of the cupcake with a wooden sword to avoid unpleasant surprises.
If, puncturing a cupcake and taking out a sword, you find soft pieces of dough on it, let the cake stand in the oven for another 10-15 minutes, lowering the temperature to 160 degrees.
