Reusable mask without patterning with your own hands from improvised means

After a short period of excitement, protective masks returned to the shelves of pharmacies. But during this time, many have already learned to independently make protective products from improvised materials. It's both convenient and cheap. Today we want to share a curious life hack, and therefore we will tell you How to make a reusable mask with your own hands using a normal plate.

In fact, sewing a simple mask yourself is not so difficult. But if factory options often come with two rubber bands - for each ear, then we suggest giving preference to the option with one solid gum. This device will not rub your ears, which is much more convenient.

What do you need for the job? In addition to the already mentioned plate, you will have to find a material suitable for the mask (a square piece of matter 30 centimeters wide), linen gum and a thread with a needle.

By the way, the diameter of the plate is 23 centimeters. If you sew a mask for a full face, you can take a plate and larger - 24-26 cm in diameter.

Instructions
  1. Put the plate on the cloth. Cover a piece of chalk to form a circle.

  2. Cut the circle from the outline drawn.
  3. Then the cut piece of fabric is folded in half, and again in half. Cut in the folding places to get 4 identical blanks.

Paired through pieces of fabric on the round side. Make small cuts to make the seam more flexible. It can then be removed from the side. It turned out two parts with a seam in the middle. To one of them try on a linen rope, fasten it with pins in the right places.

Put the second detail (the rubber band should be inside). Passed around the perimeter, leaving only a couple of centimeters (to turn the mask). Turn the mask, straighten it and iron it.

Such a simple mask without a complex pattern sits tightly and does not rub anywhere. You can be sure that it will last a long time, which means that there will be no need to endlessly run to the pharmacy for disposable products.
