No lover of barbecue or grill will resist the creations of craftsmen of shampoo and grill.
Americans' reaction to barbecue Always unambiguous. And this is not surprising, because they do not pickle meat for grilling.
The American reaction to the barbecue was a friend of mine from America. Inspired by the work of Nabokov and Dostoevsky, he decided to study the mysterious Russian soul. It all started with studying Russian, and ended with him coming to study exchange.
Like all foreigners from the West, he was very sociable. At first, we thought of Kevin, which is what he was called, as just a weirdo. After five years he became an integral part of our company.
And, of course, over these five years, we have repeatedly gone to nature to fry barbecues. He liked to chop wood and make a fire, but he also learned to cook kebabs over time. Especially since we cooked very simply.
Simple recipe for kebabs Ingredients
- 1kg pork
- 300g onions
- salt
- pepper
- basilica
Preparation
- The meat needs to be washed, sliced into pieces under your skewers. To make it comfortable.
- Then cut the onions with rings. And put all the ingredients in a deep pan or pelvis. If you don't like onions, you can grate them.
- Stir it well with your bare hands. This process is a bit like mixing a dough. You need to literally drive spices into the meat.
- Take a clean bag, pour everything in there and close it so that there is no air left inside at all. The more carefully you do this, the better the meat will taste.
- Leave for 6 hours in a cool place or for 3 hours in a warm place.
- String the meat on the skewers and cook over the coals without fire. About one and a half to two minutes roasting on each side. My advice is to put a timer on your phone or wristwatch and follow it strictly. Done!
The basilica was the funniest thing. One of our friends was from Armenia. He always cooked meat from the beginning to the end. He always had a jar of dried leaves with him, which he added to the marinade. But to admit it, he did not want to. Said it was from his family's secret recipe. But it was actually very simple. A few years later, he admitted that it was just basil. There are many spices in the world, so do not be afraid to experiment. The most unusual sauce I tried for kebab was made with cinnamon.
After school, we still talk to Kevin. Returning to his suburbs of Washington, he repeatedly surprised guests with a barbecue. For them, of course, pickling seems something superfluous. Too many spices. But Kevin says that the smell of barbecue consistently come neighbors. And, as they say, not with empty hands.
From the editorial board, there are many nuances that should be considered. How to use firewood, what height is optimal, how to choose the right meat. The Americans will be thrilled anyway. However, it will be much harder to please our man. What kind of life hacks do you know? Be sure to share them in the comments.
